The Wimmer Letters

Saint Vincent Archabbot Boniface Wimmer wrote several thousand letters during the course of his life. Many involved the founding of Saint Vincent, and later its daughterhouses. Approximately 200 of those letters were published in the book Letters of An American Abbot by Jerome Oetgen. 

We will feature a different Wimmer letter each week on this website, so bookmark the site and visit frequently.
